GUARDIANS FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS

Protecting Rights, Empowering Futures.

GWG works across The Gambia to advance gender justice, protect rights, and promote emotional and mental wellbeing of women and girls.

WORKING WITH AND FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS

A women-led movement for safety and dignity

Guardians for Women and Girls (GWG) is a feminist, women-led organization advancing gender justice in The Gambia. Founded in 2021, we protect the rights, dignity, and autonomy of women and girls. Through advocacy, direct support, and community engagement, we dismantle harmful norms to build safe, violence-free, and inclusive communities. We do this by partnering with government, civil society, experts, NGOs and Communities.
